Michael S. Godin, MD

Michael Godin, M.D. graduated with honors from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed a surgical internship and a four-year residency in Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California, San Diego. He then took one year of advanced fellowship training at Tulane University in New Orleans. Dr. Godin is Board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology.

In addition to maintaining a thriving private practice which is centrally located in Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Godin has served since 1993 as the Director of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia.

Dr. Godin has authored over 20 research articles on the subject of Facial Plastic Surgery. He currently serves on the National Medical Education Faculty for both BOTOX^®/JUVÉDERM^® and Radiesse^®. He is recognized by Allergan as a Platinum BOTOX^®/JUVÉDERM^® Provider, signifying extensive experience with these products that are used in a Liquid Face Lift. He has performed over 8,000 non-surgical procedures with liquid face lift products including BOTOX^®, Dysport^®, and advanced dermal fillers, such as Restylane^®, Radiesse^® and JUVÉDERM^®. Dr. Godin has been named “Best Plastic Surgeon” by the Readers of Richmond Style Magazine and "Best Rhinoplasty Surgeon for Women" by his peers.

In addition to providing non-invasive liquid face lift procedures for facial rejuvenation, Dr. Godin specializes in facial cosmetic surgery, including the traditional face lift, more focused "minilifts" of the face and neck, nose refinement, eyelid refinement, fore head and eyebrow lift, tuck-up procedures, scar refinement, skin lesion surgery, liposuction and cheek and chin implants.
