When will I see Liquid face lift Results

In a liquid face lift procedure, results will vary depending upon the product or the combination of products utilized, physician technique, skin condition, patient health Gradual, Subtle Liquid face lift Results and treatment goals. In some instances, a few separate treatments and touch ups will be required to reach optimal improvement.

Many of these procedures produce subtle, gradual results, often culminating in dramatic improvement.  It is not uncommon for patients to report that their friends and acquaintances wonder not what a patient had done, but why they look so good.  The following explains how long it generally takes each liquid facelift product to show results.

Restylane® and Perlane® - Patients will usually see results immediately.

Botox® - Patients will see results within 3-5 days, with full results after about 2 weeks.

Radiesse® - Radiesse® is designed to be dual acting.  Radiesse® is composed of calcium-based microspheres, suspended in a water-based gel.  The product almost always produces immediate results from the gel.  Then, the calcium microspheres will begin to stimulate the body to produce its own collagen, usually visible in 1 - 3 months.  In some instances, the immediate results will begin to fade before the collagen generation begins, so it is possible (but unlikely) that a patient may see a small, temporary dip in results.

Juvéderm® Ultra and Juvéderm® Ultra Plus - Patients will typically see results immediately.

Sculptra® – Although the body begins to respond to Sculptra® immediately, it takes a few months before the skin starts to feel thicker and hollows begin to diminish. The optimal effect is usually reached after about three to six months. Sculptra® is usually administered in more than one treatment session.

ArteFill® – ArteFill® is composed of PMMA microspheres suspended in a purified bovine collagen.  Patients will usually see results immediately, due to the collagen suspension portion of the product.  These immediate results will fade, in most cases, after the first month or so.  The microspheres stimulate the body to produce its own collagen.  The results of the collagen stimulation will usually begin to be visible after about three months.  The complete results typically occur around 6 months.
